Kinky Date Night can be played without a profile, and most of the game stays on your phone. Here is what leaves it, to whom, why and for how long.

What stays on your phone
Your game settings (anatomy, equipment, limits, timer) and the game in progress live in your browser's local storage; we don't save them on a server. The pairing, the chosen equipment and the excluded limits only go into anonymous daily totals (see Anonymous game statistics).
A saved game is deleted automatically after 30 days, and immediately when the game ends or when you tap “Delete all data”.
Profile
A profile is only created if you ask for one: you get a three-word code. We never ask for a name, email address or phone number. Only a keyed hash of the code is stored, never the code itself.
We store the profile id, the hash of the code, when it was created and last used, and your own cards. Profile data is processed to provide the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Own cards may reveal your sex life, so before your first own card you are asked for explicit consent to store them (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)); the time of consent is recorded.
For login attempts we keep a keyed hash of the IP address for 24 hours to stop code guessing (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
You can delete the profile with its cards at any time with “Delete profile”. Profiles unused for 12 months are deleted automatically.
Google Analytics – only if you accept
Google Analytics is only loaded after you accept it in the cookie banner. If you decline, the site is not measured.
What it measures: pages viewed, device and browser type, language, approximate location (country), how far you get in the setup, game length and number of turns, use of the timer and rewards, level changes. With a profile, a keyed hash of the profile is sent too (never the code).
Because using a BDSM game can in itself hint at your sex life, the legal basis is your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw below or with “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. We never send card text, pairing, equipment, limits or profile codes to Google.
Google signals and advertising features are switched off; the data is not used for advertising and never sold. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Anonymous game statistics
To see which cards work, we keep daily totals: how many games started with each pairing, which equipment was selected and which limits were excluded, how often each built-in card was shown, completed or failed, and how long it stayed on screen on average.
These are daily sums only: no id, IP address or cookie, and they cannot be linked to a game or a person, so they are not personal data. They need no consent and do not depend on your cookie choice. The content of own cards never goes here either, only that it was an own card.
Processors
Netlify, Inc. – hosting and delivery; server logs may briefly contain your IP address.
Supabase, Inc. – database for profiles and own cards.
Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, only with consent.
Transfers to the United States rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@kinkydatenight.com; for a profile, we identify yours by its code.
You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, naih.hu) or the authority in your country, or go to court.
Adults only
The game is for people over 18; we do not knowingly process minors' data.
If this policy changes, we update it here together with the date.
Cookies and local storage
The game cannot work without the necessary items, so they need no consent. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept.
